Clutter Creative Day 11 – Studio ‘Declutter’ and Potentially Exciting News

DSCN6327 - Version 2Today I have tackled my studio. I can not call it decluttering because very little apart from rubbish has left the room. It is exceedingly difficult not to think ‘I might need that for a future project’ especially because excitingly/ fingers crossed/subject to administrative procedures/with a fair wind, I might just be able to finish off my degree starting in September in Barnsley… so you see I might just need it for a future project! The image for today, because I am so totally terrible at decluttering art/craft stuff is taken from the vacuum cleaner brushes, after the last bout of hoovering. Cleaning the floor necessitated several de-tanglings of the hoover brushers with a pair of scissors as the floor was so littered with pieces of thread – the sign of a busy studio I think! However, the floor is now clear…ish but clean and things have been neatly stacked – ok just stacked, so that I can begin work on my summer project and the work I still need to do for the Holmfirth Art Week. I am so pleased to hopefully have the opportunity to finish my degree in my home town (at least in principal at the moment!).
