Yesterday (day 30) and today has been skip filling - decluttering the garden and garage. Decluttering over the last month has been a time consuming process, and there is still much to do, but fantastically, much progress has been made. Space is starting to appear in the house, particularly the…

The Clutter Creative challenge is nearly complete and today's de-cluttering has been clearing more of the old plants ready for the new front garden design. This is one of the garden residents, although my veggie plot wishes he'd live somewhere else!

De-cluttering of a different type today. As part of the project I've been working on concerning grief, I wanted some sound effects of smashing and tearing. This is some of the stuff that had been set aside to go in the skip; old chipped and cracked crockery, glass and an…

Today's challenge was a bit more decluttering in the cellar. This space is almost finished; one more/maybe two or three session(s) should do it. There is still standing water, so it will be great to get everything shifted into a slightly drier place. This image is of collated dry walling…

Another day decluttering the garden ready for the arrival of the skip and the result; another border planted up with baby lavender plants which will eventually form a hedge. One day the garden will be under control!

Another day in the cellar trying to move soggy boxes away from the standing water that seems to be no less deep, despite a dry day yesterday. The cellar actually has a sump, which unfortunately appears to be at the highest point because it is the driest space! A skip…

Alan is off for his service and MOT today so I have been clearing out the debris. Usual rotting banana found and melted toffees in the glove box - I've no idea how these things get there! This image is taken from one of the several water bottles found stuffed…

Another bout of clearing in the cellar, but after yesterday's heavy rain, I found 2 inches of standing water in places! Too late for yesterday's dried frog! The image is of a glass dish, originally part of a dressing table set, which didn't seem to mind the water.

Clutter Creative – Day 22 Croaked

More clearing in the cellar today, where I found this poor unfortunate critter in a box of crockery (or should I say croakery ....perhaps not). The crockery is heading off to the hospice shed and the dried frog to sit on a shelf in my studio, because you never know…

Today's declutter has been somewhat minimal due to a late night and a somewhat tired constitution. So the reminder of one of the borders has been cleared and the baby lavender plants installed in the hope that it will become a low maintenance hedge.
