Today has been very low key and unproductive, unless lying in bed feeling peeky counts as a constructive activity! My total output for the day is a small piece of painted wool fabric. I wanted to see how it changed the appearance of the surface and what feeling this might convey. This is part of the Minus One project that has been largely parked since I suspended my studies in October. The piece was too small to really see the effect and I tried different colours too close to each other, with the result that I’m not sure this is particularly successful. The image included in the post is manipulated to enhance the contrast, which puts me in mind of liquid soaking through the fabric rather than something applied, which I might try for real next.
